Craving for Traditional Homemade Healthy North Indian Food?

Located in the midst of Madinat Zayed , This restaurant is a hidden gem for vegetarian lovers.They serve authentic punjabi food which tastes just like how your mom makes it 😉 Which is they’re main motto and what they run by. The food made here has the touch of homemade food , and gives you the feeling of home. The recipes of the food served here has the traditional touch and is originally the owners mother who has taught the recipe to the staff here. That explains the homely feeling of the food.

To Start off we tried they’re Punjabi samosas – which was the BESTTTTTTTTT! The Quantity is just right and it tastes  heavenly costing around  2 Dhs each.The filling was really good , not too spicy. The crust was very crispy and soft at the same time not sure how its that perfect. The flavor of the filling is so good that its going to be your next go to samosa spot.

Then we tried out their Paneer Lababdar , Garlic Naan and Stuffed Kulcha , Paneer Lababdar bascially cottage cheese type of curry , not spicy and its super good!! Paneer is their specialty here and its basically like butter chicken but a lot better and healthier. It tastes heavenly and we are now officially huge fan of this dish.

Comparing the two breads we would definitely try out their Stuffed Kulcha again , Garlic Naan is a favorite – but the Stuffed Kulcha took our hearts.

We also tried their fried rice. However it was not up to our expectations. The flavor was too much and it lacked the taste of fried rice. Regardless of that we would recommend trying this restaurant and suggest to opt for their paneer best seller as those are definite winners for us!

The ambiance is quite basic not too fancy , again with a homely touch. It has a cozy and calm environment , you’ll definitely enjoy a good meal here with family.Their ambiance might not be quite posh on one hand but their food supplements the ambiance.

As for the pricing it is extremely fairly priced. They have made delicious food menu with very affordable prices.

Overall great vegetarian restaurant with great food and reasonable prices.
